The sea refuses no river And the river is where I The sea refuses no river And the river is where I am. --Pete Townshend One way to describe ECA’s body of work and its collaboration with the junior national team is to liken the whole project to a vast waterway. Like streams, creeks, brooks, individual athletes & teams form the headwaters, each a rivulet coalescing into an emergent river. Further downstream, as landscape becomes riverscape, additional programs act as tributaries and the main current gathers pace, momentum, force. Eventually, from waterway to delta, the whole process opens to the sea, coursing towards Europe. This is the composite nature to the progression—all aspects merging into one team. To work within this analogy— where the result is truly the sum of each part, where every contribution—past, present, future—is appreciated, where identity, ethos, & spirit are encouraged— is to experience joy. The November block ended with a good weekend of ra The November block ended with a good weekend of racing in Dublin 🇮🇪🍀 Everyone used all the lessons they learnt in another great racing opportunity. @vida_lopezdesanroman 🇺🇸 was the highest finisher with a 5th place in the Junior Womens race. @djtcross was once again in the mix with the best. He ended 6th @henry__coote picked up his first worldcup top 10 by ending 10th @alyssabwhite just missed the top 10 after a crash in the first lap. She ended 11th. Some great results but above all personal growth and development. @djtcross 🇺🇸🥈scores the first MJ worldcup podium since Gage Hecht in 2015 & equals Logan Owen for best MJ Worldcup finisher. @vida_lopezdesanroman 🇺🇸 ended 4th, which is the best result for a USA JW in a WorldCup.
